Rt Hon. Justine Kasule Lumumba, the Minister for General duties| Focal point Minister in-charge of SGDs in the office of the prime minister has unveiled a program for the consecration of the newly elected Proposed Bishop of East  Busoga diocese.  She also confirmed President Museveni’s attendance for the same function<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Recently, the house of Bishops elected Rev. Canon Hannington Paul Ssuubi as the new Proposed Bishop of East Busoga.

speaking at a press briefing at Uganda Management Institute Nakawa, the organizing committee disclosed plans for the consecration and installation of the Bishop on 19th November 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Patron Organizing Committee Justine Kasule Lumumba; eluded to the celebrations  being a double blessing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lumumba assured those in attendance and the entire Eastern region as the President had committed himself to being the chief guest of honor. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The elected Bishop Rev. Canon Hannington Paul Ssuubi lamented on God’s mercy for the position. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The consecration ceremony will be led by the Archbishop of Uganda His Grace Dr. Steven Samuel Kazimba Mugalu who will launch the new East Busoga Diocese. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
