Vipers SC, one of Uganda’s leading football clubs, is gearing up for a special celebration as President Lawrence Mulindwa unveiled plans for the upcoming ‘Vipers Day.’<\/p>\n
The event, set to take place on Saturday, July 27, is an enhanced version of the traditional Vipers Fans Day, which has been a staple for the club’s supporters over the past four years, barring interruptions due to the COVID-19 pandemic.<\/p>\n
“Every year, for the past four years, we have been organizing what we call Vipers Fans Day,” Mulindwa explained. “The purpose of that day is to bring fans together and celebrate the achievements of our club. This function has helped us get numbers and has always been a great success.” The event has traditionally served as a platform for fans to interact, celebrate, and reflect on the club’s accomplishments.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
In a bid to expand the scope and appeal of the event, Mulindwa announced a rebranding: “We are transforming the \u2018fans day\u2019, starting this year, into what we are going to call \u2018Vipers Day\u2019.” This new iteration aims to not only celebrate the club’s successes but also engage a wider audience, including players, staff, and the broader community, in a day filled with activities and festivities.<\/p>\n
