Ugandan athletes at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games will receive unprecedented cash rewards for their medal-winning performances, as announced by the Minister of State for Sports, Hon. Peter Ogwang.<\/p>\n

Ugandan athletes have more than just medals to look forward to at the ongoing Paris 2024 Olympic Games. In a groundbreaking announcement today, the Minister of State for Sports, Hon. Peter Ogwang, revealed that medal winners will receive significant cash rewards, marking the largest financial incentives for athletes in Uganda’s history.<\/p>\n

During his visit to the Team Uganda Camp at the Games Village, Hon. Ogwang detailed the rewards: gold medalists will earn Shs 100 million, silver medalists Shs 50 million, and bronze medalists Shs 30 million.<\/p>\n
