The NRM Secretary-General Richard Todwong\u00a0 released the roadmap, flanked by senior members of the party\u2019s leadership.<\/p>\n
The comprehensive plan is set to kick off with the nomination and expression of interest for party structures and LC1 chairpersons at the village level, beginning April 24, 2025.<\/p>\n
Todwong emphasized the roadmap as a key milestone that will anchor internal party democracy, ensuring every level from the village to national leadership is represented and functional ahead of the national Electoral Commission\u2019s general election program.<\/p>\n
He highlighted the roadmap\u2019s inclusive approach, saying deliberate steps have been taken to ensure the active participation of youth, women, and persons with disabilities, while also urging party members to adhere strictly to the timeline.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is a very important milestone for the party as we prepare for the upcoming general elections. We call upon all our party members and leaders to be very observant of the timelines and dates for all proposed activities. Discipline, order, and inclusiveness will guide our process,\u201d said Todwong.<\/p>\n
The roadmap will roll out in phases, beginning with grassroots structures, moving through parish, sub-county, county, and district levels, before culminating at the national level where the party\u2019s flag bearers will be selected.<\/p>\n
NRM\u2019s electoral program is expected to set the tone for internal democratic competition as political momentum builds toward the 2026 elections, with the party reaffirming its commitment to transparency and national cohesion.<\/p>\n
