Baguma is accused of assault, disobedience of lawful orders, and acting with intent to alarm, annoy, and ridicule the person of the President. According to prosecution, Baguma allegedly jumped security barricades at Mbogo Playgrounds and sprinted towards the head of state while he was addressing supporters during a rally for NRM candidate Faridah Nambi.<\/p>\n
The Special Forces Command (SFC), tasked with presidential security, swiftly intercepted and restrained Baguma before he could reach the President.
