The Government Chief Whip, Denis Hamson Obua, has handed over 630 iron sheets to selected schools and a religious institution in Ajuri County.<\/p>\n

The handover ceremony took place at the Alebtong District Local Government headquarters and was attended by district leaders including Chief Administrative Officer Franko Olaboro and Resident District Commissioner Geoffrey Okiswa.<\/p>\n

According to Obua, the iron sheets were secured through the Office of the Prime Minister under the Northern Uganda Rehabilitation Programme for the FY 2025\/26 financial year.<\/p>\n

Obua said the initiative aims to improve housing and infrastructure conditions for institutions and vulnerable communities across Northern Uganda.<\/p>\n

Beneficiaries of the Support<\/p>\n

The iron sheets were distributed to several institutions in the district, including:<\/p>\n

Alanyi Primary School \u2013 100 iron sheets<\/p>\n

Amugu Secondary School \u2013 150 iron sheets<\/p>\n

Omoro Senior Secondary School \u2013 150 iron sheets<\/p>\n

Alebtong Yahew Pentecostal Church \u2013 230 iron sheets<\/p>\n

Obua noted that the support will help improve infrastructure, enhance the learning environment for pupils and students, and support community places of worship.<\/p>\n
