President Yoweri Museveni has cautioned newly elected Members of Parliament under the ruling National Resistance Movement (NRM) against corruption and indiscipline, urging them to uphold integrity and responsibility as they take on leadership roles.<\/p>\n
Speaking at the opening of the NRM leaders\u2019 retreat at the National Leadership Institute in Kyankwanzi, Museveni congratulated the legislators on their electoral victory but emphasized that leadership demands accountability and discipline.<\/p>\n
He noted that their election reflects the trust Ugandans have placed in them, but warned that the party\u2019s performance was partly affected by internal weaknesses that must be addressed moving forward.<\/p>\n
