Moroccan international Achraf Hakimi has reportedly become the most decorated African footballer in history after winning his 19th major team trophy, surpassing some of the continent’s greatest legends.
The achievement places Hakimi ahead of former Cameroon star Samuel Eto’o and Ivorian midfielder Yaya Touré, who are both credited with 18 major collective titles. Former Mali international Seydou Keita and Ivory Coast legend Didier Drogba follow with 17 trophies each.
