The list is contained in UNEB press statement issued on 8th November 2023 by its Principal Public Relations Officer, Jennifer Kalule Musamba.

The listed Social Media Platforms that use Code Names are; Evening Greetings, Boosting Candidates’ Performance, Last Nail in the Coffin 2023, Secondary School Teachers Platform, Academic Excellence, and the Great National SST Forum.

Others are; MTC Teachers Forum, Plus the Great, The UNEB Specialist, Eastern Professional Teachers, Grab and Take, and Teachers Excel in PLE and Beyond.

UNEB says these platforms have been formed by teachers with the purpose of vending what they claim to be UNEB PLE Exams.

“The UNEB Roaming eye together with the security teams are closely monitoring these groups,” Kalule says.

She warns members of the public to desist from being part of the said groups and or sharing contents shared by the platforms. Kalule warns that being on those platforms predisposes one to being in possession of unauthorized material/information purported to be a UNEB examination.

“Such unauthorized possession is an offence according the UNEB ACT 2021. If convicted members of such groups face up to 10 years imprisonment or a fine of between Shs20M to Shs40M,” Kalule warns further.

Just in the Primary Leaving Exams are set to be completed on 12th November 2023 as the Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education
