The Archbishop of the Church of Uganda, Stephen Kaziimba Mugalu, has called for church leaders to be facilitated with reliable means of transport to enhance their work.
In his Palm Sunday message, Archbishop Kaziimba emphasized that transportation is not a luxury but a necessity for effective ministry, especially in reaching communities with the Gospel.
He noted that while some people believe church leaders do not require such support because they serve God, the reality is that mobility plays a critical role in enabling them to carry out their pastoral duties.
The Archbishop stressed that equipping clergy with dependable transport would improve outreach, strengthen community engagement, and ensure that spiritual services are accessible to more people, particularly in remote areas.
His remarks highlight ongoing challenges faced by religious leaders in executing their work and the need for practical support to sustain church missions across the country.
