U.S. President Donald Trump is reportedly holding off on major military escalation against Iran amid growing concerns from senior advisers over the potential depletion of critical U.S. air defense munitions in the Middle East.

According to reports, officials close to the administration have advised caution as tensions in the region continue to fuel uncertainty and place pressure on global energy markets. Oil and gas prices have remained elevated amid fears that the conflict could further disrupt supplies.

Meanwhile, the Pentagon has revised its official count of war casualties, lowering the reported number of fatalities. The adjustment has prompted criticism and raised questions among military families seeking clarity over the updated figures.

On the domestic front, a U.S. federal appeals court has blocked a Trump administration directive concerning mail-in ballots in 23 states and Washington, D.C., marking another legal setback in the administration’s election-related policies.

President Trump has also directed that new signs be installed outside Smithsonian museums, arguing that some exhibits contain inaccurate historical interpretations.

Elsewhere, excitement continues among lottery players as the Powerball jackpot has climbed to an estimated $600 million, making it one of the largest prizes in recent months.

The developments come as the United States continues to navigate challenges on both the international and domestic fronts, with foreign policy, legal disputes, and economic concerns dominating the national agenda.
