Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu visited the southern town of Arad following a missile strike attributed to Iran, signaling a sharp escalation in rhetoric and potential response.

During the visit, Netanyahu issued a strong warning, vowing a direct and intensified campaign against Iran’s leadership, particularly the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), which he described as a “criminal gang.”

He emphasized that Israel’s response would not be limited to military targets, but would extend to senior commanders, strategic infrastructure, and economic assets linked to Iran.

The remarks underscore rising tensions between Israel and Iran, as both sides exchange threats amid an increasingly volatile regional conflict. Analysts warn that targeting leadership figures could significantly escalate the situation and widen the scope of the confrontation beyond conventional military engagements.
