President Paul Kagame joined thousands of young people in Rwanda for the annual Walk to Remember and Night Vigil, part of the Kwibuka activities.

The event, held at BK Arena, brought together Rwandan youth to honor the victims of the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi and reaffirm their commitment to preserving the country’s history.

Accompanied by First Lady Jeannette Kagame, President Kagame participated in the solemn walk and vigil, which has become a key moment in Rwanda’s national remembrance calendar.

The Kwibuka32 events continue to emphasize unity, resilience, and collective responsibility among young Rwandans to ensure that the lessons of the past are never forgotten.
